We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working SUMMER INTERN with excellent writing skills to create and manage print and web content. He/she should be able to demonstrate a wide-ranging reading habit that is up to date, familiarity with genres and styles of writing, attention to detail and correct spelling, grammar and syntax, and ability to deliver copy on time. A creative bent of mind will be invaluable. He/she should be willing to familiarise himself/herself with the DREAM:IN process, methodology and tools. It is an opportunity for new learning experiences and personal growth in lifeskills and professional skills resulting in a rich experience in a holistic design and business-driven environment.

We are looking at interns preferably starting from April 1st week (However if they wish to come later on, please do let me know)

Typically we are looking for someone to intern with us for a minimum of 7 – 8 weeks

Summer Internship Program – 2013

CAFRAL is an independent, non-profit institution set up by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to serve as a global centre for policy research and learning in banking and finance. Ms Usha Thorat, former Deputy Governor, RBI, heads the institution.

We invite applications for talented individuals currently pursuing their undergraduate studies for (upto) 2 month summer internship program. The summer interns will be predominantly working on a Data Digitization Project along with an excellent opportunity to attend talks/conferences held by CAFRAL. This two month engagement will give the interns a good insight in to the working of Corporate Debt Restructuring mechanism, formulation of restructuring packages, data analysing technics and exposure of working with top level researchers.

The department requires the presence of 10 candidates who will be reporting at Cuffe Parade for analysing and updating financial data on the system.

Description:

·         Review and analyse firm specific financial data

·         Use the set template to digitize the financial data available in hard copies. Due guidance and supervision will be provided by CAFRAL.

Compensation:

·         The candidates will be paid Rs. 10,000 per month. No other expenses will be reimbursed.

Requirements:

·         Operational understanding of MS Word and MS Excel

·         Basic understanding of accounting and financial terms

·         Candidates are expected to bring/arrange their own laptops
